Ordering
How do I place a custom order?
Simply choose your square size and fabric type, add it to your cart, and upload your image file at checkout. We’ll review your file and begin printing within 1–2 business days.
What sizes do you offer?
We offer three sizes — 5″ squares (cut at 6″), 10″ squares (cut at 11″), and 12″ squares (cut at 13″). All sizes include a seam allowance so they’re ready to sew straight out of the bag.
Can I order multiple squares with different images?
Yes! Each square is its own product listing so you can add as many as you need to your cart, each with a different image uploaded at checkout.

File Requirements
What file formats do you accept?
We accept JPG, PNG, and PDF files. PNG is preferred for designs with transparent backgrounds. JPG works great for photos.
What resolution does my image need to be?
For best results we recommend a minimum of 150 DPI at print size, ideally 300 DPI. For a 10″ square that means your image should be at least 1500 x 1500 pixels. Lower resolution images may appear blurry or pixelated when printed.
What if my image isn't the right size or resolution?
If we notice a potential issue with your file we’ll reach out before printing. We want your squares to look perfect so we’ll never print a file we’re not happy with without checking with you first.
Can you help me prepare my image file?
Absolutely! We’re happy to help. Email us at squaredinchco@gmail.com with your questions or send us your file and we’ll take a look and let you know if anything needs adjusting before you place your order. We’d rather help upfront than have you disappointed with the result.
Fabric & Printing
What fabric types do you offer?
We offer two fabric types — bleached white muslin (our standard option) and quilting cotton (our premium option). Both are 100% cotton and white, which gives you the most vibrant, accurate color reproduction from your image.
What printing method do you use?
We use Direct-to-Garment (DTG) printing on a Ricoh Ri2000 — a professional grade printer that produces vibrant, detailed prints directly onto fabric. DTG printing produces wash-fast results that hold up over time.
Will the colors look exactly like my image?
Colors may vary slightly between what you see on screen and the finished print due to differences in screen calibration and fabric absorption. We recommend using high contrast, vibrant images for best results. If color accuracy is critical please reach out before ordering.
How do I wash my printed squares?
Machine wash cold, inside out, with a gentle detergent. Tumble dry low or lay flat to dry. Avoid bleach and fabric softeners as these can affect the print over time. We recommend pre-washing your squares before incorporating them into your quilt.
Shipping & Returns
How much does shipping cost?
We charge a flat rate of $8.00 for shipping on all orders. We ship via USPS First Class or Priority Mail depending on order size and weight.
Do you ship internationally?
At this time we ship within the United States only. We hope to offer international shipping in the future — sign up for our newsletter to be notified when that changes.
What is your return policy?
Because every square is custom printed to order we are unable to accept returns or exchanges. However if there is a defect in printing or a mistake on our end we will reprint or refund your order — just contact us within 7 days of receiving your order.
How will my squares be packaged?
Each square is packaged flat in a sealed zip bag with a chipboard backing to keep your fabric crisp and crease-free during transit. We recommend washing your squares before sewing — this removes any residual pre-treatment solution and fully sets the ink for best results. Simply machine wash cold and tumble dry low before adding them to your project..
